Ahhhh... fool's errands. There's nothing like sending the new guy to find "striped paint" or a "left-handed screwdriver" or when a light blows you get them to go to the hardware store to buy a "lightbulb repair kit". I've also heard of "dehydrated water", "K9-P Solution", "wireless lan cable" and from my rowing days, "the coxswain's nuts".
