A couple summers ago I was on my way to pick up my sister from a Queens of the Stone Age concert, which my broke ass couldn't afford to go to. It's a nice summer day so the windows are down, and I'm listening to the radio loud, a good song was on.
So I'm heading West down the street when I get to a light and stop. Some kids in a little car pull up next to me, in the left turning lane. They're wearing balla caps and looking way too young to be driving.
I then notice the kid in the passenger seat lean out his window and exclaim to me "Hey man! We're listening to the same radio station!"
My mind goes blank. Who the fuck makes that observation out loud, to the other driver none the less? Added to the fact that these kids were wearing G-Unit hats, and looking young enough to not know who Lisa Kudrow is, the first thing that slips out of my mouth is,
"Sweet deal! You wanna hold hands or what?"
And proceeded to stick my hand out the window, waiting for him to grab it. Needless to say, he didn't. He turned bright ass red and stared at his feet as his friend just laughed and laughed and laughed. The light turned green and I withdrew my hand, disappointed.
